Local Government Authorised Officers in Victoria (Australia) can use Vic BARK to aid in the assessment of a dogs breed and record dog incident information.

The ‘Assessment Tool’ saves a CSV file to the mobile device which can be retrieved by connecting to a computer. The ‘Assessment Tool’ is supported by example images and information for assessing a dogs breed.

This application does not have the facility to take and store photographs. This application has been developed by the Department of Primary Industries to improve implementation of the Victorian Domestic Animals Act.
